Form: Epiphyte, stems crowded

Stem: 60 cm tall. Almost cylindrical but usually tapering at both ends 

Leaves:  Leave sheaths cylindrical. Leaves: 10 cm long; 7-15 mm wide

Flower:  Racemes 2-flowered, shorter than leaves. Two small fragrant flowers arise together from a short pedicel emerging from a sheath between two leaves.

Fruit: Pod

Propagation: Division or seed

Habitat: Epiphyte, grows in moist areas on trunks and branches of trees. Can be found poking through the canopy of small trees on mountain ridges.
